BARRIER NET WITH WEBBING ONLY:
BARRIER NET WITH MESH ONLY:
BARRIER NET IN HYBRID - NET WEBBING + MESH SCREENING:

NET WEBBING:
The standard webbing products for consumer use are designed primarily for the insides or interior of the vehicle.  We normally use and recommend a very high quality polypropylene webbing.  It is very durable, UV resistant, feels fairly soft to the touch and maintains a very clean look and specs at 800 PSI. Maximum stretch is 5% @ 400lbs.  Opening size on most nets is ~4” x 4”.
MIL-SPEC NET WEBBING:
The MIL-SPEC polyester webbing is recommended for installations where the highest strength possible material containment is required or will be exposed to sun and weather often. This material has a stiff texture and utility-type look.  This material has typically a 1300 PSI specification for 1" widths and a 2500 PSI for 2" width webbing.  Zero stretch (even wet) @ 400lbs. Opening size on most nets is ~4” x 4”.
MESH SCREENING:
The UV rated MIL-SPEC grade knitted polyester mesh insert products will have the standard webbing frame and cross supports at pull points, and a very durable and excellent visibility through the mesh screen. We recommend this in most dog containment applications up to 215 PSI. NOTE: Larger mesh style ceiling nets may have additional supporting straps not shown in stock photos. Maximum stretch is 5%. Opening size in mesh screen is about 1.6mm.
HYBRID STANDARD WEBBING/MESH COMBINATION:
The HYBRID version uses our standard UV rated 1" webbing and is interwoven with the UV rated 215 psi MIL-SPEC knitted polyester mesh for the strength of a webbing net and closed up openings with the mesh material.  The webbing will seal the perimeter of the mesh all around and attached to the mesh about every third row as to allow MOLLE bag mounting or carabiner attachment in most places on the surface.  This option is great for strength and preventing smaller items (or dog's noses) coming though the openings.  This material build type may be required for fleet or government applications where the normal 4" opening in a webbing net is not permitted. *During the assembly process there will be very minor variances in exact dimensions and from one unit to another.  Expect about 1" shrinkage for every 36" of length as a general rule.

No, your Raingler Grab handles and pockets will not add bulletproof protection unfortunately!  Black 15 oz. per sq. yard 1050 Denier. The heaviest weight of urethane coated, ballistic nylon available. It is extremely tough and abrasion resistant.

OUR OPTIONAL DOG DOOR OPENING:
This dog door allows you to reach your pet without taking down the barrier or getting out of your vehicle. Available on most Barrier Nets as a custom option. This customization has a drop down “dog door” opening, to fit just above the console behind front seats and at top about seat back for rear barrier applications in most vehicles. Industrial strength Velcro on three sides of opening (lower side is sewn down) to stay closed when you want it closed.  Available on Net Webbing, MIL-SPEC or Hybrid only. Option not available for MESH material version. *Selecting this option will make the item a Custom Build item and is not eligible for exchange or return.

Optional Full Height Pass Through for Vans:
This Industrial  Velcro and steel coated quick release hooks maintain the strength and structure of the barrier when closed and attached.  Much stronger than nylon zippers that pull apart under stress. This option is only available on vans, but can be special ordered if you would like on some other nets.

Special notes on Ceiling Nets:
Built as a cargo net style will act as a storage pouch for gear. If you want maximum height to ceiling we recommend our Mesh or Hybrid versions.
Regarding Hybrid Ceiling Nets:  The mesh is built on top in a hybrid, and serves the exact same function as the mesh version.  We attach the mesh to the underside and sandwiched in between the nets frame and sewn about every third webbing row to keep the two material types attached yet allow a pocket or channel in between then.  Great for stuffing, maps, gloves and other smaller flat type items including MOLLE accessories and bags.   The net underneath is then set to allow many points to affix clips or carabineers.  Hanging lights, cords, dog leashes and stuff some towels or boots to dry during the day.  You have in essence, three different layers to stow items.  Great for in car camping use.

Special Notes on Grab Handles:
All Raingler grab handles are available in BLACK WEBBING only. You can customize your handles with stitching colors, and some may offer other options depending on the handle and your vehicle.

Because of the material types, there are some differences in colors between MIL-SPEC and the standard net webbing. Shown in this example with the Olive color. *Selecting this option will make the item a Custom Build item and is not eligible for exchange or return.

STITCHING OPTIONS:
We are an in-house manufacturer with extensive production capacity on premise, and can add custom colored stitching to your Raingler items for a unique look to match your color theme or style.
There will be more structural stitching that is used for binding that will be hidden or will match the webbing in certain places and to not get too "busy" of a look on certain products.
*Selecting this option will make the item a Custom Build item and is not eligible for exchange or return.   NOTE: Custom color stitching will typically include center "box and cross" intersections of webbing and embroidered logo and may not match shown product images.

PLEASE NOTE: Custom stitching will have the colored logo and center bar tacks (box and cross “X”) intersection sewing. The outer trim is no longer offered in contrasting stitching as shown in some product images.

HARDWARE

The hardware that we offer has been tested extensively and exposed to the elements; in some cases nearly 20 years.  Most hardware (including our proprietary pieces) are stainless steel and many items are additionally either powder or PVC coated to further protect the item and your vehicle. Further notes on all materials and construction: Some products that are exposed to outdoors and heavy duty use will only be built in an extremely heavy duty polyester material, such as our roof rack nets.  We do not use plastic or nylon clips, snaps or fasteners as these will fail in extreme temperature and long-term use conditions.

INSTALL HELP:

We have many downloadable PDF documents and online videos that one can use here on our site and our Vimeo or YouTube channels.  While we do extensive research into each vehicle that we design and build for it is possible that any particular vehicle may be different than what is depicted.  It is ultimately the owner and the installer to determine suitability and proper installation method.  Further information is available on our Installations page.
